Construction Details
Primary Construction & Frame Material	Engineered Wood, Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), Pine, Plywood Engineered wood products are manufactured to maximize the natural strength and stamina of wood. Furniture made with pine has a natural, creamy yellow colouring that looks elegant and adds warmth to the home. Pine has a tight grain pattern with a smooth surface to hold finishes well. Plywood provides extra strength to furniture structures, and is used in everything from musical instruments to home construction. By layering each piece to cross the grain of the previous one, plywood is resistant to cracking, shrinking and warping.
Finish Method	Veneers By gluing a thin layer of beautiful wood or stone onto quality construction materials, veneers provide a striking texture and finish to furniture. Veneers won’t warp, crack or split over time, which keeps your products looking as good as the day you bought them.
Construction Method	Kiln-Drying Kiln-drying removes most of the moisture from wood before furniture construction, preventing warping and splitting regardless of humidity changes.
Hardware	Antique pewter-toned metal knob hardware.
Storage Details
Number of Drawers	1
Drawer Construction	English Dovetailing, French Dovetailing Dovetailing is a woodworking technique commonly used to put drawers together. Tight fitting dovetails resist the wood's natural tendency to twist and warp over time, meaning your drawers will remain functional for as long as you own them. A triangular groove is cut down the length of a board to allow the edge of a second board to slide in. The groove's triangular shape helps keep the pieces together under strain.
Drawer Glides	Side-Mounted Metal Ball-Bearing Situated on both sides of the drawer, these metal glides move smoothly thanks to ball bearings tucked inside each slide. These glides are strong, and will support even the heaviest junk drawer.
