Construction Details
Upholstery	Faux Leather Faux leather has a beautiful leather-like look for a fraction of the cost. Resistant to light, this material will retain the same look for years without fading.
Primary Construction & Frame Material	Plywood, Pine, Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) Plywood provides extra strength to furniture structures, and is used in everything from musical instruments to home construction. By layering each piece to cross the grain of the previous one, plywood is resistant to cracking, shrinking and warping. Furniture made with pine has a natural, creamy yellow colouring that looks elegant and adds warmth to the home. Pine has a tight grain pattern with a smooth surface to hold finishes well.
Finish Method	Veneers, Nitrocellulose (NC) Lacquer By gluing a thin layer of beautiful wood or stone onto quality construction materials, veneers provide a striking texture and finish to furniture. Veneers won’t warp, crack or split over time, which keeps your products looking as good as the day you bought them. Originally developed as a substitute for shellac, NC lacquer comes from natural fibres and is combined with other materials to produce a clear finish. This lacquer has exceptional clarity, depth and protective properties.
Construction Method	Corner-Blocking An extra block of wood is added to each corner of the furniture’s frame for additional support. Known as corner-blocking, this technique helps to brace your furniture for enduring stability.

Drawer Construction	English Dovetailing, French Dovetailing Dovetailing is a woodworking technique commonly used to put drawers together. Tight fitting dovetails resist the wood's natural tendency to twist and warp over time, meaning your drawers will remain functional for as long as you own them. A triangular groove is cut down the length of a board to allow the edge of a second board to slide in. The groove's triangular shape helps keep the pieces together under strain.
Drawer Glides	Bottom Centre-Mount Tucked underneath the drawer, a single bottom glide supports everything from the centre. Whether your drawer is a typical rectangle or shaped to fit a curved frame, a centre-mount drawer glide will keep your storage sliding freely.
