MacEwan University Block Party Contest

The Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) exclusively at the Grant Mac Block Party located on 108 Street between 102 and 104 Avenues, and a portion of 102 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta (“Contest Location”). A participant shall be referred to as “You”, “Your” or “Contestant”.

1. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Contest to play to win a prize on the officially licensed physical Plinko game, provided by Touring Entertainment Inc., You must attend the Contest Location on the Contest Date during the Game Time, defined below. You then become a Contestant.

September 9, 2026 from 10:30 A.M. MT – 2:30 P.M. MT (“Game Time”)

Each Contestant will have the opportunity to play the Plinko game once.

The Plinko game will have prizes on the bottom row indicating which Prize You have won.

If Your disc lands on a $25 or $50 Giftcard prize slot, You will immediately be awarded the Prize.

Five (5) Instant Win Prizes are available to be won. Upon all five (5) Instant Win Prizes being awarded, the Instant Win Prize space on the Plinko board shall revert to an “Enter to Win!” space for the remainder of the Game Time left in the Contest.

If Your disc lands on “Enter to Win”, You will be directed to complete a ballot for the chance to win one of five (1 of 5) $1,000 Brick Shopping Sprees.

“Draw Time”: The draw for the Shopping Sprees shall be conducted on September 9, 2026, at 2:30 P.M. MT.

2. WHO CAN ENTER:

The Contest is open to all residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority on or before the Draw Date except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd. and Touring Entertainment Inc., and all people employed as contractors or sub-contractors of The Brick, and their immediate family members living in the same household.

You agree to abide by the Contest Rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

It is a condition of eligibility that the winners authorize The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

3. ODDS

Odds of winning one of the five $1,000 Shopping Sprees depend on the number of Contestants during the above-stated timelines. Odds decrease as the number of Contestants increase.

Total maximum value of all Prizes (excluding the 5 Instant Win Prizes) are determined by the number of Contestants. Examples of Maximum Prize Value are based on number of Contestants who have played the Plinko game within the Game Time as shown in the Table below:

* All Shopping Spree winners will have their Prize amount credited to their internal Brick customer profile (“In-Store Credit”), which can be accessed at any Store location.

The value of the Shopping Spree and In-Store Credit must be used within one year from the Draw Date. Once the product selection has been made, The Brick will arrange for delivery of the chosen product to the Winner living within 100 km of a Brick store, if the product is of substantive size. Should the prize Winner live outside of the specified delivery area, The Brick will ship the prize to the Distribution Centre/Store closest to them.

The Brick’s Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to this Prize. The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winner beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.

5. DRAW PROCEDURES:

Instant Win Prize Winners and the $25 and $50 Giftcard Prize Winners will immediately be awarded the Prizes.

For “Enter to Win” Contestants, at the Draw Time, a representative from The Brick’s Corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta, will draw and record seven (7) Entries to obtain five (5) winners (“Eligible Winner”). The additional entries drawn are back-ups in the event that any initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner via the Entrant’s Contact Information. If an Eligible Winner cannot be reached by this contact method or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner.

6. DECLARING A WINNER:

An Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must:

1. Immediately following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s);
2. Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize; and
3. Should any Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that person will be disqualified and The Brick shall proceed to contact the next Alternate Winner, and so on until one person has been contacted and deemed eligible according to the Contest Rules.

7. ADDITIONAL TERMS:

By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick’s records of the Contestant sign-up order or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.

8. PRIVACY POLICY

The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and market to You. We may communicate with You for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers You have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein. 9. OTHER

The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick, in its sole discretion, necessary for business efficacy.
